The original owners of the Liberator try to get their craft back.
Blake and the crew are shocked by Orac's prediction of the destruction of the Liberator. Blake reviews the explosion time and time again, trying to find something that stands out.
Avon is watching from the back of the room, seemingly enjoying Blake's discomfort. He's waiting for Blake to ask him for help.... which he eventually does.
Avon points out that the starfield is unique and once they work out where it is, all they have to do is avoid that sector of space. Blake is surprised it was that easy, and Avon reveals he has known this for some time, just that no one has asked him - he points out that the crew should not rely on Blake so much.
Before Blake can respond, the Liberator is attacked. Precise strikes on the sensors and engine controls render her blind and out of control, racing across the galaxy at full speed.
Eventually the power systems run dry, and the Liberator comes to a halt. Blake theorizes that the attack was part of a set plan; the enemies knew exactly where to hit. It was probably the people who built the Liberator.
With control over the ship, the aliens soon teleport onboard and the crew are taken captive by the computer dominated race.
Held prisoner on the large space station - Spaceworld - Avon realizes they are in the exact sector of space shown by Orac's prediction. Vila manages to break out of his cell and release the others, just as things begin to breakdown on the space station.
The crew meet up with an internal resistance group, who help them back to the Liberator. People are fleeing everywhere as vital systems break down, which Blake realizes must be caused by Orac.
The finally make it back to the Liberator, and escape the space station, but are pursued by a sister ship, identical to the Liberator. Vila reminds them of the prediction and that there is no point in running, but suddenly the sister ship explodes.
Orac tells them he reconfigured that ship's firing controls to detonate their missiles before launch, destroying the ship - making his prediction come true.
