Blake's conditioning is coming back to haunt him.
Synopsis
The Liberator is on course for Del Ten, a relaxation planet with a high concentration of beta particles. But Blake is beginning to act strangely, altering the course for the barren asteriod, PK One One Eight. When confronted, he slips into a trance, chanting "Renounce, renounce, renounce", over again, which appears to be a link to his brainwashing back on Earth. His trance appears to be triggered by an audible osscillating noise which only himself and Cally can here.

Orac attempts to de-program Blake, but needs Jenna's help. She joins Blake, helping to monitor him, making sure he's not getting near the threshold of insanity. The treatment doesn't work, and Vila is put on guard. Blake persuades Vila that Avon and Cally are plotting against him, forcing them to head to Del Ten for an ambush, so Vila sets Blake free who then manages to lock Avon, Cally and Jenna in the rest area.

Once at the asteriod, Blake teleports down to the small mining building, and finds a small group of rebels, led by Shivan; a weak man wrapped in a total body bandage.Shivan's helper, Glynd, explains they hope to bring down the Federation, including Servalan. They have evidence she plotted to steal one hundred million credits from the Federation banks to purchase Orac. Blake teleports the rebels back to the Liberator, where they explain they must contact the only Federation council member still on the side of good, Governer Le Grand. Blake sets course for Atlay, where the annual meeting of the Federation governers is about to take place.

Orac determines that Blake is being to easily led, some form of telepathic order was beamed to him to force him to the asteriod. And that the rebels are still leading him via some low power transmitter already onboard the Liberator.

They reach Atlay, and Blake, Jenna, Glynd and Le Grand teleport down to the conference area. On the Liberator, Shivan strikes, killing the lone rebel guard, and revealing himself as Travis. Back in the conference room, Blake and his friends find the area empty. Servalan's image appears on a huge screen, explaining that she has known of Le Grand's plan from the beginning. Guards open fire, killing Le Grand and wounding Glynd, but Jenna manages to drag Blake away as his trance again takes over. Travis teleports down, anxious to finish Blake off himself. Glynd attacks Travis and Avon smashes the transmitter controlling Blake, giving Blake and Jenna enough time to teleport back to the Liberator.
